Stuart
After a successful career in construction Stuart joined Protective Polymers in 2018 to lead technical applications. It quickly became clear that he had the skills to advance within the company. He wanted to work in every department to gain experience and understand how all departments operated and interacted. Stuart took on roles in technical development, commercial and production. In 2022 he was named joint managing director and in 2023 he took full control of the business. Under Stuarts leadership the company has grown significantly in both sales and profitability.
Richard
Richard joined us with over 40 years of experience to head up our technical development team. Richards experience in Industrial coatings will help service our customers needs and develop our business, both in high performance and industrial coatings.
Mick
Mick has spent most of his adult life in paint, working for one of the world’s multi-national companies as works supervisor. He joined us on our acquisition of our new site at Lydford Rd as Site Manager. Mick brings a wealth of experience in the manufacture of High Performance Coatings.
Tim
Tim joined us in 2021 as our Project Manager. Tim brings a vast amount of knowledge in multiple areas of the coating business both in technical and commercial roles, having worked in the Industrial and Protective Coatings business units. Tim is a great asset to our company and customers
Ian
Ian has worked in the roof coating industry for more than 30 years supplying liquid roofing membranes. Ian joined Protective Polymers in 2020 to head up our flat roofing Sales and Technical Teams.
Mark
Mark has worked as a Business Development Manager in the construction industry with almost 20 years experience. He has experience in Managing distributers, merchants and contractors throughout the UK. Mark joined Protective Polymers in 2023 to develop and manage the flat roofing business in the southern regions.
Oliver
Oliver joined us a year ago coming from a Metalurgical background, he has now taken up the position in our Logistics department and handles a multitude of tasks from transport to on the phone product enquires.
Santie
Santie joined us in 2021 as our accounts and office manager, she was an accountant in South Africa working for a large raw material supply company.
Derek
Having worked within the protective coatings industry for over 50 years Derek brings a wealth of experience in sales and technical areas of our business.
David
David has worked at the sharp end of paint manufacturing for more the 8 years working for one of the multinational paint companies. He joined us in 2021 to support our manufacturing plant.
Rick
Rick has been with us for nearly 2 years, he is now a very competent paint maker and warehouse operative
Charlie
Charlie joined us 3 years ago as a trainee paint maker. Since then he is now running his own department making Industrial Coatings
Aiden
Aiden came to us with experience in Laboratory testing and a paint manufacturing back ground. He has proved to be a valuable member of our team.
